The Barilla-owned fresh pasta brand will open its next restaurant in Guildford, adding to its five sites in Harrods in Knightsbridge, Chiswick, Greenwich, Richmond, and Manchester Airport.
Pasta Evangelists opened its first restaurant in Richmond in July 2024 and has undergone a major transformation over the past year, expanding from a subscription and takeaway-only model to a more traditional restaurant model.
“Pasta Evangelists is a true omnichannel business, proving that a food brand can thrive across multiple sectors – e-retail, delivery, dine-in and experiential,” says brand director Ebru Bircan.
“In 2025, we are focusing heavily on expanding our restaurant portfolio while continuing to invest in our takeaway business, with new locations coming soon. This year is all about restaurant growth.”
Growth is being underpinned by the company’s £13m pasta factory, which it says has significantly increased production capacity.
“The opening of our factory last year has increased our capacity to provide fresh and hot pasta up and down the UK via restaurants, subscriptions and takeaway,” adds Bircan.
The London-based facility can produce 50 tonnes of fresh pasta, 90 tonnes of sauces and 15 tonnes of baked pasta dishes per week, ensuring scalability across all dine-in, delivery and takeaway channels.
Beyond the UK, Pasta Evangelists is exploring international growth opportunities. Co-founder Finn Lagun previously told Restaurant’s sister title MCA that the company was in talks with operators in France, the Middle East and China, with a view to entering new markets by 2025.

“We are focusing heavily on expanding our restaurant portfolio while continuing to invest in our takeaway business,” says Bircan.
“With more sites on the way, we’re excited about the future of Pasta Evangelists and where we can take the brand next.”
